As part of the Marketing Management Department you will lead your team in the management, planning, creation and execution of all promotional communication. Nothing escapes your eye as you make sure that all means of communication meet commercial, technical and brand requirements.
Operational Management This means managing the creation of promotional communication materials, as well as the creative design process which includes photography. You are responsible for a proper planning based on the weekly Promotion Calendar, so as to meet the commercial standards within the provided budget and deadlines. This requires regular coordination with external parties like distribution companies or suppliers, in addition to internal partners like the Purchasing department. It is your responsibility that we adhere to brand guidelines of the Action brand across all touch points.
Planning and Production This entails that you facilitate and advise other departments like HR regarding communication. Also you will manage all the graphic productions such as POS material of sticker trucks. It is your responsibility to take care of the realization of improvement proposals regarding procedures and systems within the department. This will also involve structuring of the overall advertising process, in the form of weekly advertising and online activities within the team.
People Management While leading the team it is important to develop and motivate the other members. You will create a work environment in which employees are stimulated to develop themselves and to improve their performance, as well as to actively contribute to the thought process. Your will act as a mentor or coach, trying to develop the skills and competences of the employee.

This person is a strong communicator with a proactive attitude, who demonstrates a high level of pragmatism.
Furthermore you have:
10 years’ experience within commercial roles in large retail or consumer goods organizations
Familiarity with supplier contract of €100K or more
Knowledge of retail- and brand models like brand box
Fluent command of English
