To join our IT department within the Team Store Applications, we are hiring an Application Analyst for the Store domain. As an application analyst you will be first point of contact between business and suppliers for questions, incidents and changes. Our Application Analyst understands more than just the functional aspects of the Store Applications like Cash Registers, Order terminals and Intranet; you also know how it fits in the business processes of Action as you will be the linking pin between IT and the Store Operations key users. Besides that you have a broad view on the system landscape. You gain knowledge of impact on connecting systems.
The Application analyst manages and coordinates the work between key users and IT suppliers to help and support the users. You also monitor and proactively create and optimize work and procedures, in order to be more efficient.
On a daily basis you will be involved in tasks such as:
As a member of the project team, you will join relevant meetings, webinars for your own responsibilities, and support the process improvement.
Coordination in a fast pace
Understand impact within the business.
Incidents, changes, problem solving, releases.
Who are you?
An Application Analyst at Action has knowledge of the business processes within Retail. You are self-confident and show leadership by motivating application specialists and business process owners. This also means strong communication skills on a business level. Throughout your work you are organized and sticking to agreed deadlines and guidelines is no problem for you. You are result-driven and demonstrate a high level of pragmatism. Time pressure doesn’t bother you, and you work effectively on your own as well as in a team.
Furthermore you have:
Education at university level; ideally in technology field
2+ years’ experience in similar roles
5+ years’ experience in IT
Excellent knowledge of English & Dutch (knowledge of French/German is a plus)
