Bank and Treasury financial employee
Full time, 38 hours a week
The challenge Ready to take on a lot of responsibility? You'll find it here. As a Bank & Treasury analyst, you will be responsible for all cash flows and payments at Action. From our international headquarters in Noord-Holland, you will have an impact on our finances across Europe.
Your daily actions
You will oversee everything from the payment process in shops to cash received at the bank and making payments. It is all part of your responsibility as a Bank & Treasury financial employee. Of course, you won't be alone in your role. You will work with your teammates for all Action stores across Europe. Each day, you will check deposits from the shops and process them in the systems.
You will also handle payments from other departments. Much of the work consists of analysis in Excel, where you check whether the incoming cash flows match the data. Found something that doesn't match up? Then take action. In addition to digital money, you will take care of cash transport. For example, you can arrange the starting fee for new stores.
Due to Action’s international scope and growth, the development and optimisation of processes is important, including in your role. This gives you a lot of room for ideas and personal development.
This is your team
The Finance department employs more than 90 specialists in various roles. The Financial Services takes care of the entire administration of our international organization. Treasury manages all cash flows and our Tax team deals with all tax matters. Business Controlling provides financial advice to Store Operations, Commercial Control, Supply Chain and Financial Control. We not only provide important management information, but our analysis also ensures important process optimization. Do you want to work within the dynamics of the retail sector, in a young department with plenty of international growth opportunities? Take Action!
This is you
Finance is your passion and you have a great interest in money and cash flows. You work meticulously and cast a critical eye over processes and your own work. What's more, you see great responsibility as a challenge.
You also have the following:
- A degree in finance
- An excellent command of English
- Knowledge of and experience in cash flows (preferably)
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset

Because our growth means that you can always take new steps to develop as a professional, whether that means a different position, an interesting innovation project or new skills. And you can do all that in a culture where we truly live our shared values: customer focus, teamwork, simplicity, discipline, cost-consciousness and respect.
You can also count on Action for the following:

How we contribute to society
If you only know Action from the stores, a new world will open up for you when you join us. As an example, we're working hard behind the scenes to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you also know that we sponsor more than 2,000 children worldwide who are growing up in an SOS Children's Village? Or that our team reflects the diversity of our customers, representing 124 nationalities? Or that 70% of our wood products and 86% of our cotton already comes from sustainable sources? Or that we only use energy-efficient LED lighting in more than half of our stores? Yes, that's Action, too. If you're curious about what other initiatives we're taking, join our team and see for yourself.
