Business Controller Inventory

(Fulltime 38u)
Do you want to work in an international organization with lots of growth opportunities and further develop yourself as a business controller? Or maybe you want to make the switch from accountancy to business control? In this role you specifically focus on the inventory in our countries, stores and warehouses.

This is your daily ‘’Action’’

As a Business Controller Inventory you will report to the Head of Supply Chain Control and you will be part of a large Business Control community both situated in the International Headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost as well as in the various Country Offices across Europe. Business Controlling supports and challenges the business by providing financial advice across various domains such as Store Operations, Commerce and Supply Chain. Besides your direct Controlling colleagues, you will have frequent interactions with our Supply Chain Planning who are in charge of the planning and safeguard the inventory.

In this role you will be focusing on the inventory in our countries, stores, warehouses and hubs. That ranges from inventory levels, performance to product availability, damaged goods, theft and other inventory differences. You make analyses and bring focus on improvements together with your stakeholders. It’s really about the articles, so you will be working with a lot of data to support the preparation of business cases, forecasts, budgets and strategic plans.

In close collaboration with our Risk Management department you review the processes, strengthen internal controls and make recommendations for improvements. You ensure on time execution of control self-assessments and follow up on actions regarding Internal Audit by business partners.
