CRO Specialist

We are looking for a CRO Specialist to join our growing team as part of our UX & CRO team. Your daily tasks

As a CRO Specialist, you will be part of the UX & CRO team and work closely together with cross-functional product teams. You will be responsible for optimising the user experience and conversion. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of digital touchpoints thanks to the variety of countries and touchpoints at Action, including the website, mobile app and online shop. 

You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand our customers. You will then use this better understanding to optimise the user experience online. You will also define, prioritise and manage the AB testing roadmap in such a way that delivers the greatest value to the business. This role requires both creativity and critical thinking. Having analytical skills and being proficient with tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar and Google Optimize are crucial. You are passionate about creating a seamless shopping and user experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will own and steer the CRO strategy and roadmap
  • You will manage the CRO testing roadmap and backlog, ensuring that all test hypotheses and results are maintained and reported
  • You will deliver AB and MVT testing and work together with the UX, SEO and CI teams and Product Development teams on a daily basis with a view to continuous testing and learning
  • You will develop well-formed, data-driven problem definitions and hypotheses
  • You will work with users carrying out research to uncover key conversion barriers across the entire marketing funnel

Your team

Our Digital department is responsible for all digital communications from Action to customers. The Digital Marketing & Merchandising team develops all paid ads, videos, social media, newsletters and merchandising posted on The Content team is responsible for producing all images and texts in our marketing communications, while the Customer Experience & Insights team takes care of web development, UX design, analytics, SEO and CRO. Finally, Digital IT is responsible for Action's back end, architecture and online platforms. What you offer

  • You have at least five years' experience in CRO and AB testing for both web and apps 
  • You have at least five years' experience in retail and/or e-commerce
  • You have at least two years' experience in working with scrum teams and can work directly with developers and product owners
  • You have experience with Google Optimize 
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written) 
  • You are passionate about research
  • You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills
