Location: Zwaagdijk (35 minutes congestion-free drive from Amsterdam).

Action is growing fast. We are active in 7 countries with more than 1500 stores and 50,000 employees, and our plan is to rapidly expand our international presence. One of our most important priorities is the development of a strong recruitment and employer branding strategy for the coming years. A strategy that focuses on quality, efficiency, innovation, and international consistency.
Action is looking for a Recruitment heavyweight. Someone who can support the international growth of Action by leading, building, and directing all recruitment activities. From strategy to operation, someone who innovates, professionalises, and optimizes.

What will you be doing as Manager Recruitment & Employer Branding?

As a Manager Recruitment & Employer Branding you develop and implement the international recruitment and employer branding strategy. You manage the international recruitment and employer branding team, consisting of 7 employees. The (Senior) Recruiters, the Employer Branding Specialist, and Recruitment Assistant report directly to you. You are also part of the HR management team and you work closely with the HR Country Managers. With the HR team you build on the transformation of a "traditional personnel department" into a strategic "center of excellence". You are involved in various HR projects and you report directly to the Head of Group HR. As an internal ambassador for everything that has to do with Recruitment and Employer Branding, you advise the Executive Board and senior management on all related topics.

In the past year we have completed a number of interesting projects, such as the implementation of a new ATS, and an international Recruitment website. Some of the topics that you and your team will be working on in the coming year include:
- Employer Branding strategy and campaign;
- Employee Advocacy Program;
- Pre-selection & assessment tooling;
- Pre-employment screening.

This is you
  • You own a completed Bachelor or University degree;
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, including managerial experience;
  • You have a proven track record within an international organization such as Manager Recruitment & Employer Branding or Global Talent Acquisition Lead;
  • You have a result-oriented, can-do mentality;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and oral;
  • Extensive knowledge of (project) management, recruitment trends, and the latest tools.
