As Business Analyst Productivity you contribute to the productivity of our 1.500+ stores, both national and international. Your work ensures that our store operations become even more efficient and effective. Daily activities

You will be responsible for all national and international norms of our store processes. In this role you’ll analyze and optimize these processes. You’ll have a lot of freedom and room for your own initiative to do so. In this role you’ll be part of the Store Operations Team and will report to the Store Productivity Team lead. The team Productivity works closely together with our Finance department and is the first contact for planning and labor cost control for area managers, region managers and other departments within our international headquarters. In this role you manage our Workforce Management software for our stores.

One of your main tasks will to optimize and analyze the ‘activity based planning and working’. Therefore, it is important that you are familiar with store operations and time standards. New activities will be added because of business process changes. You will be responsible to secure changes within our stores by managing our Workforce Management software.

Part of this role is the management of data in the Workforce Management software. Together with your team you make sure that the data in the Workforce management software are always up-to-date. For example, store specific characteristics, activities of store operations, time standards and periodical activities. Because of you stores will be able to work efficiently and effectively, which will contribute to the success of Action!

When there are big changes in our stores you deliver input for the business cases to ensure that decisions will be well argued. Also, as well as requested and on your own initiative, you will perform productivity based analyzes. 

Meet your team

Our Store Operations department provides service in three areas to all the countries in which we are represented: productivity, staff management and stock management. The team organises and structures everyday activities of our stores worldwide and maintains a close collaboration with regional managers, Country HR and Supply Chain. Properly organised and efficiently stocked stores allow our employees to serve their customers in the best, most efficient way. The Productivity team works closely together with our Finance department, they focus on planning, loan costs for Sales manager, Area managers and several other departments in our Head Quarters.

About you

As Business Analyst Productivity you easily have overview and work accurately. You are familiar with Excel and enjoy working with large amounts of data. With your analytical skills and result-orientated attitude you optimize our processes. 
Furthermore:

  • You have a bachelor in economics or economics related studies;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in retail;
  • Familiarity with working with productivity- and planning software is a plus;
  • Affinity with IT and store operations is a plus;
  • Excellent command of English.
