Employee Financial Administration

Fulltime, 38 hours a week, Zwaagdijk-Oost

Do you have experience as an Financial Employee? Do you want to extend your knowledge within our international Finance department? As Employee Financial Administration you are responsible for an accurate Financial Administration for all our debtors and creditors.

This is your daily action

As a Financial Employee for Accounts Payable you are part of the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) and you report to the Team Lead Accounts Payable. You are focused on accurately and correctly processing the incoming and outgoing invoices of Action in our SAP-system within the set time frame. Also, you will be checking and approving the invoices and processing declarations. 

You check the budget holders’ workflow and alert to timely processing and act as point of contact for the budget holders for checking the correction process. Besides that you keep track of the outstanding item management for the cost creditors and you will be checking all other creditor for the timely payment of the overdue invoices. 

You will be the first point of contact for the international headquarters for questions concerning (historical) entries and invoices.

Our Finance Department currently consists of around 70 specialists in various roles. Our Financial Shared Service Centre is responsible for all financial affairs of our international organisation. Our Treasury team manages all our cash flows and our Fiscal team takes care of anything tax related. Business Controlling supports the business by providing financial advice with respect to our store operations, commercial control, supply chain and financial control. We provide important management information as well as challenge the business with our analyses to further our process optimisation. As Employee Financial Administration you are pro-active and cooperative. You are able to keep your head cool during stressful situations and feel responsible for the quality of your work. You do your work accurately and are looking forward to contribute to the professionalization of our Financial Administration.

  • MBO or Bachelor Degree;
  • At least 2 years work experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel;
  • Good knowledge of the English language, French is a big pré;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a pré.
