“To join our IT department within the BizTech HR Team, we are hiring an Application Analyst for the HR domain. As an Application Analyst you will be the first point of contact between business and suppliers for questions, incidents and changes. You will be in charge of maintaining and monitoring the system by yourself or move to our suppliers when necessary.
Our Application Analyst understands more than just the functional aspects of the HR applications; you also know how it fits in the business processes of Action as you closely collaborate with Finance, IT, HR and Store Operations departments.”
The main focus of this job lies within Functional Application Management for multiple applications within the HR domain (SuccessFactors, SAP HCM or Kronos).
The Application Analyst reports to the Senior Application analyst or Service Delivery Manager and is part of a team of 4 internal colleagues and 10 external support professionals.
As a member of the team, you will participate in IT-HR related projects, join relevant meetings, webinars for your own responsibilities, and support the process improvement of all HR domain in IT.

An Application Analyst within Action has knowledge of Retail and all the business processes within the functional area of HR. You are self-confident and show leadership by motivating application specialists and business process owners. This also means strong communication skills on a business level. Throughout your work you are organized, sticking to agreed deadlines and guidelines is no problem for you. You are result-driven and demonstrate a high level of pragmatism. Time pressure doesn’t bother you, and you work effectively on your own as well as in a team.
Furthermore you have:
- Master’s degree;
- 3+ years’ experience in similar role(s);
- 5+ years’ experience in IT;
- Excellent command of English & Dutch (knowledge of French/German is a plus).
