We are looking for an IT Program Manager with strong experience in the Supply Chain domain. Someone who has mastered the skill of keeping tactical overview, driving stakeholder value combining this with a keen understanding of details. Someone who has a pragmatic, non-corporate attitude and enjoys to lead programs in an challenging environment that offers many opportunities for further improvement.

Supply Chain is playing a key role in keeping Action’s business run successfully and making sure to be efficiently scaled for support future growth. To achieve these goals, Programs are being set-up which rely heavily on in-time delivery of new Technology capabilities.

This is your daily action

As IT Program Manager you are responsible to lead Technology in delivering new Technology capabilities for the Supply Chain of Action. You work for IT and in close daily cooperation with Supply Chain and Technology partners to set-up, manage and successfully deliver your programs. Functionally, you report to executive management Steerco’s. You work factual, transparent and proactively to ensure that agreed objectives remain as planned. You are part of the IT Projects & Portfolio team and your management report is the Head of IT Projects & Portfolio.

In addition to your function as IT Program Manager, you play a key role in the process of setting up and maintaining the Supply Chain – Technology project portfolio. This portfolio is rolling and captures all projects, initiatives in the different stages of execution. The focus is to keep an integrated view on project dependencies, in time start-up and improving on Supply Chain and IT cooperation.

This is you

As an IT Program Manager you are analytically strong, creative and you have senior project management skills. You have a service-oriented, proactive and no-nonsense attitude and you are able to communicate and cooperate substantively at various (international) levels within the organization. You also have a clear vision and know how to implement it. A positive and proactive attitude towards change and innovation is essential in this. Our formula with a surprisingly complete assortment and competitive prices also requires an entrepreneurial, critical and pragmatic attitude with high cost awareness.

And furthermore:

  • At least 8 years of work experience as an IT Program Manager with adequate track record
  • Experience within the Supply Chain / Retail industry is required
  • Functional system knowledge of SAP is an important advantage
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of German and / or French language is an advantage
