Regulatory Affairs Specialist

32-38 hours a week

Selling thousands of products to millions of customers throughout Europe, Action is fully committed to product safety and compliance. As a regulatory affairs specialist you will help us meet our commitment, acting as the critical liaison between Action and the authorities. Growing rapidly in your role, you will take on increasingly challenging assignments. Would you like to contribute to the brand reputation of Europe’s fastest growing retailer?

This is your daily action

Joining the compliance team of Action’s Quality department, you will support our compliance team and the EU regulatory affairs manager in the Netherlands. Initially, your activities are of a more administrative nature. But as you grow in your role, you will become responsible for the day-to-day interaction with the authorities on all aspects related to product safety and compliance.

You will help prepare and submit regulatory documents, securing compliance with requirements. Using TOPdesk you will also assign the work related to requests from authorities to those responsible, monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met. Other activities include the preparation of regulatory authority audits, managing counter-testing of samples and supporting product recall campaigns.

In addition, you will provide regulatory expertise and related administrative support to Action’s internal stakeholders, who include our buyers and product technologists. You will also organise the meetings of our European compliance team. This means you get to travel and meet your colleagues in France, Belgium, Germany and Poland. And you’ll be training them in the use of TOPdesk as well.

To help you develop rapidly, you will receive all the coaching you need, while you will help us enhance our team’s performance by analysing compliance cases and consumer complaints.  And you will assist with the development and maintenance of our compliance management procedures.

Meet your team

In Action’s Quality department we drive the standards for 12,000+ products, sold in over 2,000 stores across ten countries, and still counting. Meeting EU and national regulations as well as customer expectations requires serious expertise and commitment. Your 25+ colleagues thrive on securing product quality and social compliance as well as setting the standards for sustainable manufacturing. Because we care deeply about the social welfare of all staff in our factories and the sustainable sourcing of our raw materials. We are truly creating history by setting increasingly ambitious standards which are readily embraced by the organisation’s buyers and management. As Action grows, so do we, offering you great opportunities for personal growth and career advancement in an energetic, collaborative, supportive and fun team!

This is you

You enjoy working in an international team committed to product safety and compliance. By taking ownership you help your team achieve the best possible results. You also have:
