Action is expanding quickly throughout Europe. This means more customers and also more employees. To support our growth most effectively we need to ensure that our HR technology is prepared for this challenge. As Manager HR Technology you are in charge of the systems to support all of our HR Administration and Payroll services. You lead the HR Technology project and its support team. You identify and address future needs. 

This is your daily ‘Action’

The manager of the HR Technology team is responsible for a team of approximately 15 employees focusing on HR cloud functional support, HR technology projects, HR reporting & analytics, HR process improvements and HR knowledge management. The HR Technology team focuses on all countries were Action is active. You report to the Head of HR Shared Services.

You maintain and optimize the systems and processes of HR Services. You are responsible for the proper execution of all HR technology projects. You translate HR Services’ strategy, objectives and policies into a HR technology plan and define strategic priorities for HR Services’ improvement areas while also developing corresponding project plans including their budgets.

The Manager HR Technology is able to work strategically and is also hands on, cooperating with the team on a daily basis. The Manager HR Technology leads by example and supports the team.  Building relationships at all levels and through all business areas is essential for this position. We are looking for someone who can focus on and give guidance for future developments of HR Services. Understanding the workload of daily operations and supporting other HR areas when necessary.

Meet your team

Action has expanded rapidly, and this has requires the HR department to respond accordingly. Besides the HR Shared Service Center Action also has a ‘center of excellence’ for Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and a HR Projects and HR Business Partner team. The HR Shared Service Centre is a team of approximately 70 people working in four teams; the on- and offboarding team, the employment team, processing all changes in every employee’s career,  the payroll team managing international payrolls and the development (HR Technology) to support all operations.

This is you

You are analytically strong, creative and communicative. A go-getter and a strategist. You are also service-oriented, proactive and no-nonsense. You communicate efficiently at different international levels within our organization.

You have
  • Successfully completed university or higher vocational education 
  • At least 8 years of experience in HR technology
  • Experience with managing highly skilled team members
  • Experience with HR systems solutions, preferably SuccessFactors and Kronos
  • Experience with project/portfolio management
  • Good command of English and Dutch, in word and writing
