Medior / Senior Application Analyst Supply Chain

To join our IT department within the Team Business Applications, we are hiring an applications analyst for the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) domain, with the main focus on the Symphony applications. The scope of these applications are warehouse replenishment, forecasting and allocation. 

As an application analyst you will be first point of contact between business and suppliers for questions, incidents and changes. You will be in charge of maintaining and monitoring the system by yourself or escalate to our suppliers when necessary.

As an Application Analyst, you understand more than just functional aspects of the applications. You know how it fits in the business processes, as you will be the linking pin between IT and Supply Chain Planning and other related business and IT partners. 

This is your daily action

An Application Analyst at Action has knowledge of Retail and/or Supply Chain and all the business processes within the functional area of Supply Chain Planning. You are self-confident and show leadership by motivating application specialists and business process owners. This also means strong communication skills on a business level. Throughout your work you are organized and sticking to agreed deadlines and guidelines is no problem for you. You are result-driven and demonstrate a high level of pragmatism. Time pressure doesn’t bother you, and you work effectively on your own as well as in a team.  

Furthermore you have:

  • HBO or WO diploma on a technical field
  • 3+ years’ experience in similar roles
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT
  • Excellent command of English & Dutch (knowledge of French/German is a plus)

  • You are a team player, with drive and excellent social skills;
  • You are a recognized professional with a deep understanding of Supply Chain processes and retail business processes;
  • You have extensive experience with relevant Supply Chain Planning applications.
