Compensation and Benefits Manager
(Full-time, 32–38 hours per week)
Introduction
At Action, we are scaling fast across Europe—and our reward strategy must keep pace. As Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will design and implement international C&B programs that attract, retain, and motivate tens of thousands of colleagues across our markets.
This is your daily action
As Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing Action’s international total rewards strategy. You will collaborate closely with HR and business leaders across multiple European countries and work on strategic and operational C&B topics.
You will:
- Design and roll out C&B frameworks and policies across multiple European marketsa
- Drive international reward projects linked to growth and regulatory change (e.g. job architecture, equal pay)
- Coordinate and analyse annual pay reviews, incentive cycles, benchmarking and benefits programs
- Partner with HR and business leaders as a strategic C&B advisor and stakeholder partner
- Support labour relations, works council processes, market entries, job grading and global mobility topics
- Maintain C&B dashboards and reporting (SuccessFactors) and convert market insights into proposals
- Manage partnerships and contracts with external vendors, pension funds and insurers
- Report to the Global Head of Compensation & Benefits and collaborate with an international C&B team

This is you
By nature you are a supportive leader, detail-oriented and pragmatic person, someone who lives by the efficiency of the working methods. Structure and organization is the backbone of your daily routine thus you know how to optimize processes avoiding unnecessary complexity and redundancy. Being a responsible person with an analytical mind it comes easy for you to stick to agreements and deadlines. Time pressure is a manageable aspect of your work day because the team spirit is always there to support one another.
In addition you bring:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Business, HR, Finance or a related field
- At least 9 years of relevant international Compensation & Benefits experience, including several years in a European multinational environment
- Demonstrable experience in total rewards, including policy design, job architecture, salary frameworks, benefits and international C&B projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language (oral and written). Good command of Dutch is an advantage
