Our GL accountants handle the rental costs, analyse utility costs, manage and work with stakeholders, and more for our finance department. We have over 3,000 properties in 13 countries and counting! 

 

This is your daily action


As a General Ledger Accountant II within our Finance Services team, you play a key role in the monthly closing process for housing costs across all stores, distribution centers (DCs), and international headquarters (IHQs). Your focus is on delivering high-quality financial reporting and actionable insights that support our rapid international growth.

 

You own the accounting for leased assets and related housing cost components—rent, service charges, utilities for your specific country. You ensure consistency in accounting practices across countries, maintain compliance with IFRS16, and collaborate with local finance and administrative teams to resolve exceptions and align on expectations.

 

Through variance analysis and balance sheet reviews, you provide deep insight into cost drivers and support planning, budgeting, and audit readiness. With over 3,000 stores and 15 DCs, your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, reliable insights is essential to informed decision-making across the business.

This is you


You are flexible, proactive, analytical, on top of things, can work in a fast-paced environment, and are a team player. In addition, during hectic and busy periods, you make the extra effort to ensure your work gets done. Since working with stakeholders and other teams is part of the job, you are also an excellent communicator.

 

In addition you have:

 

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in the finance field
  • At least 5 years of experience using accounting systems
  • Experience using SAP FI/CO is a huge plus
  • Can navigate Microsoft Excel well
  • Good command of English, other European languages are an advantage.
