You will embark on an 18-month program consisting of three key pillars: professional development and cross-functional learning alongside the entire group of trainees, three 6-month rotations across multiple teams, and assignments & goals that will help you become a successful collaborator within your team. By the end of this program, you will be a fully equipped professional, ready to contribute to Action’s future plans.
 

Your Daily Tasks:

  • Support HR Projects: Learn by assisting with HR initiatives, including setting up new countries, Distribution Centres, and HR tech projects.
  • Assist with Process Optimization: Work with experts to map, assess, and improve HR processes like payroll, recruitment, and onboarding across multiple countries.
  • Participate in Workshops: Collaborate with HR professionals to identify areas for improvement in HR processes.
  • Monitor HR Systems: Gain experience by supporting the development and monitoring of Action’s international HR tech systems.
  • Support System Implementation: Help with the planning and execution of HR system setups and improvements in new countries.
  • Coordinate System Changes: Assist in coordinating HR system updates and improvements to ensure optimal functionality.
  • You will work on your assignments and prepare for the periodical assessments.  

Your team


As a HR Projects, Processes & Systems Trainee, you will work in an exciting place within HR in our International Headquarters. You will have the opportunity to see the whole scope of our team, meaning that you will do an assignment within all 3 sub teams. Each team has a specific focus, which makes every assignment unique. In the role of trainee, you will work along with HRIS specialists, process specialists, HR business consultants, HR project managers and our HR data privacy specialist. As each role has its own challenges, no day will be the same! 
 

What you offer


You have a genuine interest in HR and a strong passion for learning. Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, you are good in identifying process improvements. You can work process-driven, with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency. Above all, you bring a positive, hands-on mindset and a proactive attitude, excited to contribute to HR projects and initiatives.

Your background: 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of English.
  • A background in business, administration, or similar fields through education or coursework is appreciated.  

Necessary competencies: 

  • Learning agility to be able to gain as much knowledge as possible from all your interactions and projects during the Traineeship.
  • Accuracy to be able to have a high-quality contribution to the HR team.
  • Analytical thinking to be able to assess situations and make data-driven decisions.
