Payroll Support Administrator


(Part-time, 24 hours per week)


As Payroll Support Administrator, you play a key role within HR Services by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration for our employees. In this position, you support the end-to-end payroll process and act as a reliable point of contact for payroll-related matters. You work closely with fellow Payroll Support Administrators, Payroll Experts and the Payroll Manager, contributing to a smooth and reliable payroll operation within a fast-growing, international organization.

In this role, you are responsible for the correct processing and administration of personnel and salary-related changes. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records, including employee data, salary changes, deductions, and benefits
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and internal procedures
  • Preparing and submitting internal and statutory payroll reports
  • Supporting payroll audits, accruals, and statistical reporting
  • Handling payroll-related employee inquiries regarding payslips, deductions, and benefits
  • Supporting the maintenance and troubleshooting of payroll systems and related tools
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager and Payroll Experts with complex payroll cases
  • Managing garnishment administration
  • Handling BBL administration
  • Processing wage subsidy requests and related documentation
  • Managing UWV benefit processes
  • Overseeing claims administration

You will join the HR Services team, a central and essential part of Action’s organization. This team is responsible for delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality HR administration and payroll services to thousands of employees.

You are accurate, reliable, and service-oriented. You enjoy working with data and processes and take pride in delivering error-free results. You are comfortable working in a structured environment, but you are also proactive and pragmatic when issues arise. You communicate clearly, handle confidential information with discretion, and enjoy supporting both colleagues and employees.

 

In addition you bring a:

 

  • Minimum MBO work and education level
  • Relevant experience in payroll administration or a similar administrative role
  • Experience working in a customer-oriented environment, preferably retail or HR Services
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP ECP); experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage
  • Very good command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
