Technology Project Manager – Finance & Risk

(Fulltime/parttime, 32-38 uur per week)

Action is a fast growing non-food discounter with over 3.000 stores in 14 countries amongst which are France, The Netherlands, Portugal and in June we opened our first stores in Switzerland. All these countries (partly) have their own rules and regulations which means a great deal of management to make sure we stay in control of the financials, too. As a Finance Technology Project Manager based in Zwaagdijk-Oost, you will put your project management experience and technical knowledge to good use to bring our finance projects to fruition. You will do so using technology solutions tailored to the business' needs and improvement processes to make further efficiency gains in our processes. This will result in a financial organisation that's ready for the challenges of tomorrow, and that will be partly down to you.

Your daily tasks

You will lead the way in Technology projects for Finance – from investment proposals to successful implementations. These projects focus on improving existing financial processes and solutions, while also looking at how processes can be adapted to comply with laws and regulations and how new features and innovations can be introduced. Action currently has several projects in these areas in the pipeline. You will ensure that the technology needed within the projects is achieved in line with the business' requirements. In doing so, you will manage a functional team of Action technology experts and external technology partners.

Your role will be focused on bringing projects to a successful conclusion. This starts with clarifying the frameworks and requirements, working together with the technology and business owners as a strong sparring partner. You will maintain a professional network for business processes and technological solutions and make active use of your network to increase and share your knowledge. You will achieve the desired results by ensuring proper preparation of business transformation programmes, clearly defining projects and actively monitoring resources and budgets.

Meet your team
