Agile Lead

With over 3000 stores and millions of customers in Europe, Technology plays a key role in Action’s success with the surprising assortment and strong brand proposition. The Marketing & Format Department is dedicated to improve brand representation, driving store visits, roll-out the Action (store) formula in order to drive customers to the stores and increase sales. The department executes numerous international (digital) campaigns and operates the various social channels as well as the website(s) and mobile apps.  

Your daily tasks

The Agile Lead in BizTech Marketing & Format is responsible for overseeing agile practice across teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving continuous improvement. This role does not act as a Scrum Master within individual teams but plays a strategic and coordinating role in defining agile standards, facilitating agile maturity, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. Important KPIs will include to increase Team Output by improving resilience, agility and quality of delivery across teams and departments.

• Maintain agile standards and best practices across Marketing & Format teams. 
• Coordinate and standardize agile events and ceremonies at the department level. 
• Support other teams in adopting and improving resilience, agility and quality of delivery. 
• Facilitate agile maturity assessments and improvement plans.
• Provide guidance to Scrum Masters and Product Owners across the organization. 
• Monitor agile performance metrics and report on progress. 
• Install a pragmatic, stakeholder focused approach to faster delivery (of value)

Your team

Our Technology department adds value with dedicated horizontal / functional teams for Business domains, a Development & Operations team to manage shared Technology services. Furthermore, supportive teams for Projects & Portfolio management. Over 700 people work daily in and for Technology. Business Technology supports the Marketing & Format department by organizing, enabling and delivering the technology (organization) needed for the business to thrive. The team consists of engaged, cost-conscious and customer-focused people with diverse cultural backgrounds 

What You Offer

• Bachelor degree or higher 
• 10+ years experience working in or with development teams as either a PM, PO or SM, or Delivery Manager. 
• Proven 5+ years experience in agile leadership roles, preferably in a marketing or digital environment. 
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in working in a hybrid software delivery environment (Waterfall + Agile methodologies). 
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams & Agile Delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Prince2, ICAgile, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Agile Leader) are preferred.
