About Action
Who or what is Action?
Action is originally a Dutch non-food discounter known for its affordable every-day products. Throughout the past years, we have grown tremendously. In 1993 we opened our very first store in Enkhuizen and today we have over 2,750 stores all over Europe! That growth would have been impossible without our magnificent colleagues; all 72,000 of them.
What type of work climate can I expect at Action?
Action prefers to describe the atmosphere as ‘no-nonsense’. Our stores, distribution centres and offices uphold a number of core values, such as teamwork, discipline, simplicity and respect. Facing customers, but colleagues as well. This helps us create a climate where everyone feels safe, pleasant and heard.
What career opportunities does Action offer?
Action is always in motion and offers you the opportunity to grow with us. We will support you wherever we can to help you push your boundaries. We pay a lot of attention to your personal and professional development, both on the job and through (external) training and education.
