Copywriter Italian

(Fulltime / Part-time, 32-38 hours per week)

The content team of Europe’s fastest growing retailer is transforming to digital and shifting from centralised to localised content, activating millions of clients across Europe. As copywriter Italian at Action you will drive the effectiveness of online and offline content for the Italian market. Content is the key to our success, so help us grow and join our creative team at Action’s headquarters in the province of North Holland!

This is your daily action

In this role you’ll be leveraging your excellent command of Italian and copywriting skills to create conversion-driven content across all our channels. Working closely with colleagues, including SEO specialists, the photo studio, product editors, online marketers and channel owners, you secure usability and relevance for our clients in our Italian-speaking markets.

Conversion at Action means generating traffic to our website and app, resulting in store visits. Together with the specialists from the departments involved, you’ll be setting KPIs by which you monitor, evaluate and continuously enhance the effectiveness of your content for our social channels, digital newsletters, blogs, website and app. You put our clients first in everything you write and continuously optimise your content for search engines, SEO being the main growth area of our team.

You’ll write creative market-specific content, connecting with our clients during local celebrations and holidays, and responding to current events. But you’ll also localise and if necessary transcreate Europe-wide campaigns, such as our summer and garden campaigns.

In addition, you’ll support the editors responsible for the product descriptions and colleagues responsible for offline content, which includes our weekly in-store posters and bi-weekly leaflets, distributed to millions of households. Much of this content is translated by an agency and you’ll be revising those translations, keeping in close touch with the agency to help them upgrade their output.
