CRM Marketer

(Fulltime / Parttime, 32-38 hours per week)

How do we increase interaction with the recipients of our newsletters and users of the Action app at home and abroad? And how do we ensure that we generate even more customers for the My Action programme? This is a worthwhile challenge where you will work on creating and optimising the right segments and automation journeys based on AB testing, data analysis and UX insights. What makes this so interesting? You’ll do it for all countries where Action operates, helping to further develop our engagement strategy and roll out programmes to more and more countries.

This is your daily action

As a CRM Marketer, you will report to the CRM lead and work with Customer Insights, loyalty, CX, performance, marketing and product teams. Your daily responsibilities consist of analysing customer data, developing insights and sharing them with colleagues, as well as optimising the customer journey. You enjoy working on (new) segmentations and testing via different channels such as push and email. All this is in service of getting our customers into our Action stores more often as a result of your campaign.

As a member of the CRM team, you will contribute to the implementation of new journeys, segmentations and content. In doing so, you will keep an eye on current trends and past successes. You will likewise ensure that your campaigns are in line with the other (digital) marketing activities within the entire customer journey. You will measure the effect of past campaigns and action periods using your dashboard and by testing hypotheses and carrying out A/B tests, then use these insights to optimise the campaigns.

You will use your existing knowledge of marketing automation, email marketing and mobile to enrich and automate customer journeys and increase customer engagement. Apart from the development-oriented aspects of your position, you will have more than enough operational challenges to handle. You will develop commercial newsletters (including weekly promotions) and letter content and dig into the data together with the data analyst.

If you only know Action from the stores, a new world will open up for you when you join us. As an example, we're working hard behind the scenes to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you also know that we sponsor more than 2,000 children worldwide who are growing up in an SOS Children's Village? Or that our team reflects the diversity of our customers, representing 124 nationalities? Or that 70% of our wood products and 86% of our cotton already comes from sustainable sources? Or that we only use energy-efficient LED lighting in more than half of our stores? Yes, that's Action, too. If you're curious about what other initiatives we're taking, join our team and see for yourself.
