As Employee & Labour Relations Manager at Action’s International HQ in Zwaagdijk-Oost, you'll play a pivotal role in streamlining and leading the labour and employee relations activities across 14 countries. You'll be at the heart of a dynamic, fast-growing retail organization where your legal and strategic expertise will truly make a difference.

What will you do?

 

Labour relations management:

  • Develop, implement and execute employee and labour relations strategy and process, aligned with business objectives and EU labour legislation.
  • Draft and update HR policies to reflect legislative changes and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to HR teams and managers on labour relations matters.

 

Employee relations management:

  • Handle sensitive and complex employee relations cases, including grievances, investigations and disciplinary actions to ensure a fair and consistent handling.
  • Prepare or review investigations reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance to HR partners on best practices

You’ll be part of the Legal team within our international HR department at Action HQ. This team works closely with HR Operations and Compensation & Benefits. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Europe in a supportive and professional environment where teamwork, simplicity, and respect are central to everything we do.

You’re strategic, pragmatic, and calm under pressure. You understand complex labour and employee issues and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

In addition you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law or related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Solid experience in a large, international organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing international HR policies.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written), knowledge of French/German is considered a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and advisory skills, ability to manage sensitive information/situations with discretion and professionalism.
