HR Reporting and Analytics Expert
Part time/Full time, 32 - 38 hours per week
Action continues to grow and expand internationally. We are now active in 12 countries and have ambitious plans to further expand our presence every year. To support our growth, we invest in best-in-class HR data, reporting systems, and processes. In the coming years, we have drawn up a clear roadmap for HR data and analytics. This includes initiatives such as standardising HR reporting across countries, improving our dashboards and analytics tools, and supporting strategic decision-making with data.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is analytically strong, has an eye for detail, works in a process-oriented way, and has experience with HR data analysis, reporting systems, and HR processes. This is your daily action
As an expert in Excel Power Query, SuccessFactors, and HR Systems, you offer valuable insights by combining multiple data sources. Reporting to the Team Lead of HR Reporting and Analytics, you handle assignments from the business and initiate projects based on your functional HR knowledge. You play a key role in managing HR data requests, utilizing your analytical skills to anticipate problems and discuss solutions with your team. You collaborate with line managers across all our operating countries and are responsible for maintaining the HR master dataset in all HR applications. Your responsibilities include defining data and reporting standards, developing reports, and resolving data issues.
Your key responsibilities:
- You provide structural analyses and reports on HR management information, personnel data, and trend analyses.
- You identify areas for improvement in HR reporting from the HR Project Processes and Systems department and the HR organization, and ensure their implementation.
- You support management with valuable insights.
- Supporting the business and HR organisation with various (ad hoc) HR data and reporting requests.
- Proactively identifying HR improvements and advising the HR team based on HR analytics.
- Ensuring high-quality HR data management, reporting, and analytics tools within required timelines.
- Presenting HR management information to line managers and directors as required.

You will be part of the HR Project Processes and Systems department, based at our international headquarters. You will work closely with colleagues in HR, IT, and the business to ensure HR data and reporting are aligned with organisational needs. The team’s focus is on delivering valuable HR insights and improving reporting quality and systems. Together, we contribute to a data-driven culture that supports Action’s success.
This is you
- You are analytically strong, proactive, and result-oriented.
- You have an eye for detail and can structure complex information clearly.
- You can communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a strong command of the English language.
- Experience with SuccessFactors HCM and SAP Systems.
- Experience with Excel Power Query.
- Ability to commute to the office in Zwaagdijk-Oost at least three times a week.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
Your qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or HR.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR reporting and analytics, preferably in an international environment.
- Experience with HR systems and cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience with SQL and SAP Datasphere.Pragmatic with data, able to prioritize effectively under pressure and high demand.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a clear overview.
- A critical eye for data manipulation, offering both solicited and unsolicited advice on optimizing and automating reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, HR, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in HR data analysis, reporting, and visualization with large datasets.
- A team player with strong communication skills to deliver quality insights.
