Full-time, 38 hours a week 

As part of Action’s dynamic expansion across 13 countries, our International Headquarters (IHQ) is pivotal in shaping processes, structures, and strategies. We are now seeking a Network Planning Manager to help ensure that throughout our growth, the IHQ evolves in a scalable, simple and efficient manner. The Manager Network Planning & forecasting is part of the Supply Chain Planning & inbound department and reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain Planning & inbound.

Responsible for overseeing short and mid-term network operations through forecasting and simulation, informing stakeholders and guiding decision-making within the Supply Chain Planning & inbound Management Team. This entails comprehensive oversight of goods flow (domestic, production, and direct import), inventory levels, and warehouse capacities. Collaborating effectively across various organizational levels and timeframes, key stakeholders include outbound, strategy, and inbound operations teams. Sspearheading the mid- to long-term strategy of the network planning team. This involves envisioning future team states, ensuring prioritized improvement initiatives are implemented, and allocating necessary resources.

The role involves providing accurate rolling forecasts for all network nodes and aligning forecasts with internal stakeholders for operational planning. Continuous improvement of forecasting methods and processes is crucial, as well as translating company ambitions into volume forecasts. Identifying and addressing short-, mid-, and long-term network capacity constraints is key. This position requires active participation in Supply Chain Planning projects and collaboration with various teams and outbound teams. As a member of the Supply Chain Planning & inbound Management Team, the individual will be responsible for shaping the mid- to long-term strategy of Network Planning and leading and guiding the Network Planning team effectively. Leadership in providing clear instructions, prioritization, motivation, and skills development for team members is paramount.
 

This is you

  • Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or other relevant area.
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Management / Planning, preferably in an (international) retail environment;
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Language skills: Business level English; Basic level Dutch
