This is your daily action


As a Manager - Store Communications you and your team of 4, will be responsible for the daily/ weekly communications to the whole retail operations network. You ensure that the messages are timely, simple and relevant, ensuring that local teams focus on helping our customers and running the daily operation. You will collaborate with all departments in the International Headquarters and Country teams, acting as a gatekeeper for our colleagues in the stores. 

In addition, you will play an important role in Action’s rapid expansion! At Action, we aim to open new stores in 2 countries per year, and you ensure that the intranet enviroment, along with the relevant material, is set up on time, in the local language for our new colleauges to use.
Above all, you have the opportunity to shape the future design of our Store Communication. As a Product Owner of our new intranet, you will be shaping the requirements and setting up a new way of working, that is scalable and leverages the potential of the latest technologies in the market! 

In addition:

  • You establish clear working agreements with all the departments, about how and when to deliver content,  challenge this content where needed and to turn it into high quality communication.
  • You ensure that your team can operate optimally by continuously optimizing internal processes and documenting/structuring them for the team.
  • You will be the content owner for all related projects and responsible for the associated supplier contracts.

The Store Communications department is part of the Central Store Operations team and is based at the international head office in the Netherlands.
The Store Operations department is responsible for the overall design of how Action stores are operated. The team drives the strategic roadmap of improvments and ensures that all processes and systems run in the most optimal way. Above all, the team provides support to Action’s retail network so that our customers get the best product offering and in-store experience. Do you want to be part of Action’s success story? This is you


You're naturally organized, taking responsibility and always proactive in your work. Stress-resistant, you thrive working from deadline to deadline. Additionally, you're assertive and adapt at building connections.

In addition:

  • You are educated at Bachelor’s degree level in Business or Communication; A Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, communication and/or business process optimization
  • You have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written. And any other European language is  a big plus.
