Action is looking for a Process Expert Finance within Financial Services.  You will play a key role in continuous improvement of financial processes. Would you like to apply your knowledge of financial processes and systems within Europe’s largest retailer? Then read on!

Your team, Financial Projects & Processes, ensures that Action’s finance function is supported by modern systems and a coherent financial process framework. As Process Expert Finance, you will relish the challenge of ensuring stability and continuous improvement of financial processes and supporting financial processes.

In this role, it is very important to maintain close contact with the stakeholders involved, such as colleagues in operational financial positions and financial system users, business technology staff, and project and test managers. 

In addition:

  • You prepare and maintain high quality process documentation; 
  • You monitor the performance of processes and systems, report to stakeholders and take follow up actions as needed; 
  • You are happy to share your process and systems knowledge with new joiners as they are onboarded; 
  • Existing users appreciate your support and advice on how to use systems more effectively; 
  • Frequently, you engage with Technology colleagues as you provide and monitor change requests, contribute subject matter expertise in projects and participate in user acceptance tests.

The Financial Projects and Processes team consists of 15 enthusiastic and committed team members, some with an international background, and forms part of Financial Services.
Financial Services handles the entire administration of our international organisation and employs around 100 different specialists. As a Process Expert Finance, you are comfortable sharing your extensive knowledge with your colleagues and have a strong drive to improve.

In addition:

  • You are educated at Bachelor’s degree level in finance, economics, business administration or technology; 
  • Your have at least 5 years of prior work experience with financial processes and systems; 
  • You are experienced using financial SAP applications and process documentation tools; 
  • You are knowledgeable in the fields of process documentation and process improvement, internal control implementation and systems implementation and testing; 
  • You have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
