Low prices are a key part of Action's positioning. As a Senior Business Analyst Pricing, you will have an impact in this area.  You will play a leading role in developing our team in our technology-driven environment. 
You will serve as the link between data and decisions to support our procurement teams in setting the right prices in a fast-growing commercial market.

Your daily tasks


As a Senior Business Analyst Pricing, you will be responsible for the implementation of our pricing strategy. You will do so by providing insights, putting forward recommendations, and ensuring strong stakeholder management. Together with the whole pricing team and software partners, you will ensure that Action's pricing strategy is implemented.
You will collect, analyse and optimise internal and external data. Based on your strong analytical skills and your ability to convince others, you will play an important role in identifying optimisation opportunities and transferring commercial insights to management and procurement. 
The great thing about this role is that you will be supporting Action's growth by setting the right prices for existing and new countries while helping to build our pricing and process structures.

Your job at a glance:

  • You will be responsible for executing and managing the pricing strategy for some of our 14 categories across all countries
  • You will communicate analytical findings and associated actions in a clear, convincing manner
  • You will be responsible for identifying optimisation opportunities and communicating these insights to various stakeholders
  • You will initiate and manage projects that contribute to Action's growth and pricing strategy 
  • You will provide pricing advice based on data and product knowledge
  • You will play a leading role in the development and optimisation of our pricing tools and guide the procurement teams on how to use them
  • You will monitor the quality of incoming data and ensure it is processed 
  • You will develop the pricing strategy for new countries in which Action operates
  • You will keep an eye on the latest pricing developments

Your team


The pricing team consists of 15 members, four of whom are analysts at our IHQ in Zwaagdijk. The other team members are based in different countries.
You will join an international team that works hard and is always evolving. Brainstorming and sharing ideas are key aspects of the pricing team's approach to work.
As a pricing analyst, you will be asked to work in an international environment where flexibility, curiosity, reliability and persuasiveness are essential to guaranteeing Action’s lowest price based on your expert insights.

What you offer

You also have the following:

  • A diploma from a university of applied sciences (HBO) as a minimum A diploma in the field of economics or business administration would be preferable
  • At least five years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proficient user of supporting software
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
