Service Desk Rep I

Every day, our Dutch stores rely on quick and reliable support to keep their teams running smoothly. As a Store Support Employee, you are the first point of contact for our store colleagues, helping them solve questions and connecting them with the right teams across Action. You’ll make a real difference to our stores by making sure questions are resolved quickly, accurately and with great service.

This is your daily action

  • Be the first point of contact for colleagues in Action’s Dutch stores, answering their questions by phone and through our ticketing system
  • Help resolve a wide range of questions relating to areas such as ICT, Human Resources, Facility/Property and Finance
  • Take ownership of questions that cannot be solved immediately and actively look for the right solution or department
  • Register and document requests accurately in our database and ensure they are followed up correctly
  • Work closely with colleagues across different departments at our international headquarters to get questions resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Provide friendly, professional and service-oriented support throughout every interaction
  • Ensure store colleagues receive clear and timely answers to their questions

This is you

You enjoy helping people and get energy from finding solutions when someone has a question or problem. You communicate clearly and confidently, even when a situation is busy or the answer is not immediately obvious. You’re comfortable asking the right questions, taking ownership and making sure a request reaches the right person.

You are organised and accurate, particularly when it comes to registering and following up on requests. You’re curious about how things work, comfortable using different computer systems and quick to learn new software. You enjoy working with people from different departments and can work independently while also being a strong team player.

Most importantly, you are reliable, service-oriented and genuinely enjoy helping others. You don't need to know everything from day one — you’re someone who knows how to find the answer and make sure the person asking gets the support they need.

In addition:

  • You have at least an MBO work and thinking level
  • You are available to work either 32 or 38 hours per week
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written
  • You have a good command of English, both spoken and written
  • You are comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems quickly
  • You are service-oriented and confident communicating with colleagues by phone and through digital channels
  • You are able to work independently and take ownership of questions from start to finish
