Store Support Employee Croatian

Full-time, 38 hours per week

As a Store Support Employee, you are the point of contact for our colleagues in the Croatian stores. You support them quickly and efficiently whenever needed. Are you ready to take action?

Your daily actions

The Service Desk consists of a strong and international team. Together with your colleagues, you will answer all questions coming from our stores in Croatia. These questions are very diverse and can relate to ICT, Human Resources, Facility/Property or Finance.

You make sure that every question reaches the right department and is solved quickly, efficiently and in a service-oriented way. Helping others gives you energy, and you enjoy working with colleagues from different departments. In this role, you are in close contact with the stores as well as with departments at our international headquarters.

If a problem cannot be solved immediately, you actively search for a solution. You answer questions by phone and through our ticket system and ensure that all requests are correctly registered in our database.

As a Store Support Employee, you work during opening hours from Monday to Friday.

Your team

Our Action stores are located across multiple European countries, all offering the same strong customer experience. This is only possible when stores work in a standardized way and can perform their daily tasks in the best possible conditions: making customers happy, supporting employees and working efficiently.

Central Store Operations ensures this standardization and plays an important role in Action’s rapid growth. We provide clear guidelines and monitor the progress of all stores. We are the first point of contact for operational store-related questions and make sure issues are solved as quickly as possible.

You will work in a highly international environment at Action. The main language within our department is English, while the Store Helpdesk supports stores in their local language — in this case Croatian. Many of your colleagues started their careers in an Action store, which means you will truly work at the heart of store operations.

As Action continues to grow, we continuously offer new challenges and opportunities to improve the daily work of our colleagues in the stores.

This is you

You are naturally customer-focused and helpful. You communicate clearly and confidently with store managers and regional managers. You work accurately and in a structured way.

You have an empathetic but critical mindset and are cost-conscious. You are comfortable working with computers and quickly learn new software systems.

What else?

  • Minimum MBO-level education (vocational level or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills in Croatian
  • Good communication skills in English

What we offer

Quite a lot, actually. From our headquarters in the Netherlands, your work has impact across Europe. With thousands of stores and millions of customers, Action continues to grow — and so can you.

Our growth creates opportunities for continuous development: a new position, participation in innovation projects, or developing new skills. You work in a culture where our core values are truly lived: discipline, respect, teamwork, customer focus, cost-consciousness and simplicity.

You can also count on:

  • A competitive salary based on a 38-hour working week
  • 24 vacation days, with the option to purchase 5 additional days
  • A fixed-term contract with the intention of a permanent contract
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home up to 40% (in consultation with your team and manager)
  • 15% employee discount on purchases at Action
  • A good pension scheme, health insurance and travel allowance

Our contribution to society

If you only know Action from our stores, a new world will open up when you join us. Behind the scenes, we actively contribute to society and the environment. We sponsor children growing up in SOS Children’s Villages worldwide. Our international team reflects the diversity of our customers. A large percentage of our wood and cotton products are sustainably sourced, and many of our stores use energy-efficient LED lighting.
