Training Specialist Store Operations

32–38 hours per week

Do you have a passion for developing training materials, improving learning processes and supporting store teams across multiple countries?
As a Training Specialist Store Operations, you play a key role in creating, maintaining and optimizing training tools that help our store colleagues perform at their best. From our international headquarters in the Netherlands, you support thousands of Action store employees across Europe.


Your role


In this position, you are part of the Central Store Operations Training team. You ensure that our onboarding and functional training materials for store management and store teams are effective, up to date and aligned with our operational standards. Your work directly contributes to the smooth start and continuous development of our colleagues in all countries where Action operates.

What you will do:

  • Create, update and improve onboarding and training materials for store teams
  • Coordinate the translation process of training tools for multiple countries
  • Ensure training content remains up to date when operational processes change
  • Collect and analyze training and onboarding data to provide insights and improvements
  • Monitor the execution of training programs and report on progress, compliance and opportunities


Through your work, you make sure that store managers and teams across Europe are well informed, properly trained and prepared for success—every single day.


Meet your team


You will be part of the Training team within Store Control, which is part of the Central Store Operations department. This department supports the store organization internationally and ensures that our store operating model remains simple, uniform, scalable and efficient.

Within Store Control, the Training team is responsible for onboarding programmes and functional training for roles such as Team Leads, (Assistant) Store Managers, Regional Managers and Area Managers.

You will work closely with local country store organizations as well as the Learning & Development team from People Development (HR) to develop, maintain and improve onboarding programs and training tools used across all countries.


What you bring

 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with content creation or operational training (retail experience is a plus)
  • An eye for detail and a structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a fast growing, international environment
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
