Supply Chain Business Controller – Zwaagdijk

In this role, you are the financial driving force behind our Supply Chain Outbound organisation in Zwaagdijk-Oost.
 

Your tasks

As Finance Business Partner, you support the (senior) management within Action Outbound Logistics. Your focus is on value creation, support with decision-making and engaging in dialogue with the business regarding constructive performance. 

• You identify risks, trends and best practices and translate them into concrete advice.
• You provide requested and unsolicited advice to support management as effectively as possible with their decision-making.
• You will actively participate in strategic projects, such as the construction and optimisation of distribution centres, the creation of tenders, and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
• You are involved in tariff negotiations with logistics partners.
• During planning and budget cycles, you and the team will draw up and monitor strategic annual plans and forecasts.
   

Meet your team

You will be part of the Supply Chain Business Control team within Finance and report to the Head of Supply Chain Control. Together with dedicated colleagues from Business Insights and Finance Services in particular, you will ensure direction, insight and innovation within Action. The team consists of driven professionals who work closely with departments such as Financial Control and Business Insights to bring about direction, insight and innovation within Action.

Your profile

You have strong analytical and communication skills and are galvanised by advising stakeholders at a tactical and strategic level. You take initiative, have a forward-looking mindset and are able to inspire and drive others.

• Completed vocational training in (business) economics, accounting or similar (preferably supplemented by a Master's in Finance & Control (RC) or Accountancy (RA));
• 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a business control environment (also international);
• Supply chain experience within retail is a plus;
• You think and work at an operational, tactical and strategic level.
