You’re a highly analytical and strategic thinker who’s used to driving commercial outcomes. You thrive in dynamic environments, with a proactive approach to connecting people, solving complex problems, and delivering innovative solutions.
In addition, you:
- Have a degree-level education and 6+ years of experience in business development or a similar role.
- Ideally a background in consulting or investment banking.
- Excel at connecting with cross-functional teams, using your analytical and interpersonal skills to build impactful relationships.
- Are flexible, adaptable, and ready to take on challenges with creative solutions.

You’ll be collaborating closely with departments such as Buying, Quality, Sourcing & Operations, and Programs & Processes, connecting people and ideas to drive growth and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing data-driven strategies that enhance commercial performance and drive business growth.
- Conducting in-depth market analysis and competitive benchmarking to uncover commercial opportunities and support decision-making.
- Collaborating across departments to connect insights with execution, ensuring that commercial initiatives are cohesive and aligned.
- Providing clear, strategic recommendations on product performance, competitive positioning, and revenue generation, guiding senior leadership decisions.
- Driving commercial initiatives that align with Action’s long-term goals, contributing to our ambitious growth trajectory.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Lead the development of commercial strategies, turning insights into actionable plans that meet our growth and efficiency targets.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform our commercial decisions.
- Work alongside Buying, Quality, Sourcing & Operations, and Programs & Processes teams, using your people skills to ensure alignment with overall business and financial objectives.
- Provide regular updates on performance metrics, risks, and opportunities, offering alternate solutions when challenges arise.
- Champion commercial initiatives that enhance process efficiency, improve customer experience, and connect stakeholders across the organisation.
