Data Analyst
Fulltime: 38 hours per week
Translate data into value! Does that sound interesting to you, then this might be the right opportunity for you. With your work we enable our stakeholders to act on data.
Your Daily Actions
In your job you will work on a wide variety of tasks, ranging from ad-hoc questions raised by a diverse group of stakeholders, to tasks related to cross-functional projects where you will actively participate in. Next to that, you will work on topics initiated by our own team in order to explore or challenge the status quo! This is important for Action, our team, but also yourself in order to keep growing.
Your work will consist of:
- analyzing the enormous datasets we have and transform them into digestible output. You will be responsible for all steps in the analysis process from gathering the right data, processing it in an efficient and effective way, to creating a compelling report out. With a strong customer focus, your goal will be to create digestible reports that match the needs and knowledge of our stakeholders.
- developing new reports and dashboards that support our stakeholders to steer on the right information. These reports/dashboards might serve a temporary purpose for example linked to a project, or will become part of our standard reports & dashboards after a pilot phase. Your job is not only to gather the data, model the data, and build the visualizations, but also to act as an expert in the field with a strong customer focus. You should be able to challenge requirements in a positive constructive way, to make sure we support our stakeholders in the best way we can while keeping a close eye on simplicity and focus.
- performing complex analysis to track relationships, understand effects of changes and find areas for improvement. You could think of cases such as ‘What is the impact of a certain way of working on the article availability in our stores?
- Work together with the data scientists to support them in the analyses they need for the creation of their models. Also you might use the models they created and use or analyse the output for your own tasks.
