ICT Project Manager – Supply Chain

(Full-time/part-time, 32-38 hours per week)

If you want to play an important role in implementing projects within the fast-growing Action Supply Chain domain, then you are the ICT Project Manager - Supply Chain we are looking for.

Action is a fast-growing non-food discounter with currently more than 2,700 stores in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Italy. With 14 distribution centers in 12 different countries, Action Technology plays an important role in the continuous expansion of our distribution network. To further grow and improve, we continuously start programs and smaller projects; consider opening additional distribution centers, but also lifecycle projects (project-based renewal of hardware/software), but also implementing other logistics tools to support our rapidly growing 'flow of goods'.

Are you ready to join our team? Will you ensure that our organization can continue to grow rapidly internationally and that we further optimize that growth?

These are your daily 'actions'

As an ICT Project Manager you are responsible for managing Technology in delivering new technological options for Supply Chain. In the projects you report to the SteerCo. Due to the dynamic nature of Action, it is crucial that you proactively manage risks and seize opportunities, so that agreed objectives are maintained according to plan.  You are part of the IT Projects & Portfolio team. Meet your team

Our IT department adds value with dedicated horizontal / functional teams for Business domains (eg Commerce & Marketing), a Development & Operations team to manage shared Technology services, a team for Data Analytics & Business Insights. How we contribute to society

If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you join us. For example, we are working hard behind the scenes to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we sponsor more than 2,000 children worldwide who are growing up in an SOS Children’s Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 124 nationalities? That we already source 70% of our wood products and 86% of our cotton sustainably? And that only energy-efficient LED lighting is used in more than half of our stores? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating? Join our team and find out for yourself.
