As a Talent Specialist - Performance within Action, you will play an important role in helping us identify what our employees excel in, where they need to develop, where their ambitions lie and what we need to do to support them to reach that goal. As our organization continues to grow, expanding across Europe, we're dedicated to investing in our talents as they are the key to our success. In this role, you will focus on key processes of performance management. You will contribute to defining performance management tools and take a lead role in ensuring daily running of these processes.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Drive and manage the mid-year and year-end performance review processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate quarterly people reviews, including the preparation of 9-box grids to assess talent and identify high-potential employees.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR teams to monitor and report on succession plans, talent ratings, and key development actions.
- Administer and maintain performance management systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide regular reporting on performance ratings, talent metrics, and progress against strategic objectives.
- Partner with managers and HR business partners to ensure high-quality performance conversations and alignment on development plans.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on performance management policies, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of performance management activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend enhancements to performance frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Action HR has grown into a strategic Centre of Excellence in recent years. Within our department, the Recruitment team is recruiting new employees for our international head office. Compensation & Benefits is responsible for everything related to salary, bonuses, leased cars and other employment conditions. People development ensures that all our employees are given opportunities to develop and grow. HR Projects is developing various projects to make our HR department even more valuable within Action. Our Shared Service Center serves our Country Offices, for example with payrolling. Finally, each support department has its own HR advisor who looks at the inflow and outflow of employees and connects departments with our overarching HR team. This is you
As a People Development Specialist - Performance, you are able to lead with your knowledge of the topic and have the ability to drive the topic you own from development of concept to implementation. At action, we keep things simple, which enables us to go from idea to practice at a fast pace. If you enjoy taking the lead in driving progress in an area and can define needs, identify a plan of action, bring insights on the best way forward, and execute with pace, this is for you. You can expect an environment that is supportive and where you can take action and make things happen!
You also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years work experience in the field of People & Talent Development within a complex HR setting.
- Proven experience in performance management, talent management, or a related HR discipline.
- Strong understanding of performance review processes, including ratings, 9-box grids, and succession planning.
- Proficiency in performance management systems and tools (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data-driven insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- You are fluent in English (both spoken and written).
