Your Daily Actions

As a Logistic Service Coordinator, you’ll partner closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth, disruption-free logistics operations. You’ll work on anticipating short- and mid-term capacity needs and implement solutions with our Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). Your role isn’t just about keeping things running, it’s about driving innovation, solving bottlenecks before they arise, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.

Here’s what you’ll focus on:
Contract and Relation Management

  • Partner with the Operations Manager to steer LSPs in providing seamless warehousing and transport services, delivering on-time and as per SLA agreements.
  • Ensure Action supports the LSP to execute their responsibilities effectively.
  • Maintain robust communication with LSPs, TSPs, and Action HQ for smooth operations.
  • Proactively escalate and resolve operational issues with Central Inbound teams.
  • Analyse operational data to tackle supply chain challenges and continuously refine processes.
  • Understand and leverage technical solutions (ERP/EDI/TMS) to improve efficiency.
  •

Operational Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and external agencies.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with all stakeholders, keeping them informed and aligned.
  • Resolve small and large disruptions with a calm, solutions-focused approach.

With Action’s rapid growth, your role will also involve future-proofing processes, ensuring that today’s performance is ready to meet tomorrow’s demands. This requires coordination across internal teams (Commerce, Supply Chain Planning, Transport, and Projects) and external partners like LSPs.

Meet Your Team

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with colleagues across various departments, including Supply Chain Planning, Commerce, and Tactical Planning. As this discipline evolves, you’ll help shape and optimise monitoring tools alongside the Analytics team.
Curious to meet your new colleagues? So are we!

This is You

You’re a natural problem-solver and collaborator, excelling in stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have the organisational skills to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Here’s what makes you the perfect fit:

  • Education: Higher education (HBO) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Retail.
  • Skills: Proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with a solid understanding of WMS/TMS.
  • Knowledge: A strong grasp of international logistics, including warehouse management, transport arrangements, and concepts like cross-docking.
  • Mindset: Analytical, structured, and adaptable. Experience with 3PL management and project-driven organisations is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel a few times per year.

What we offer

  • A 1 year contract with the intention of offering an indefinite contract after completion
  • 24 vacation days with the option to purchase 5 additional days (based on 38 hours per week)

  • 7,5-15% Performance bonus (company & personal dependent)
  • An extensive range of courses and training at our own Action Academy
  • 15% employee discount on your purchases at Action
  • Flexible working hours
  • A job at a dynamic, international organisation with plenty of room to grow

How we contribute to the society

If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you come and work with us. We work hard to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we sponsor more than 2,500 children worldwide who grow up in an SOS Children's Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 159 different nationalities? That we purchase 94% of our wood products and 100% of our cotton sustainably? And that almost all our stores only use energy-efficient LED lighting? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating? Join our team and find out for yourself.
