Your daily actions


In this position you are going to be a key player in the Supply Chain project Office, acting as a go-to for advice on our usual approach to project management. Your responsibility will be to support the activities in the project/ management processes by ensuring the appropriate level of quality and completeness. You make sure that senior management and relevant stakeholders are well-informed and receive the necessary facts to support their decision-making. 

You'll work closely with the Portfolio- and Project Office Manager to make sure everyone on the team sticks to the standard practices of Projectmanagement and execution. 
Plus, you will take a pro-active role in continuously improving project tools and ways of working. 

Furthermore you will:

  • Collect and consolidate input for monitoring progress and project budgets & statuses, provided by project managers and subject matter experts.
  • Plan and prepare meetings (e.g. Business and IT Portfolio meetings, etc.), including reporting on actions/decisions of these meetings.
  • Contribute to the flow of communication, keep track of repository management and other project coordination as desired.

Your team


As a Project Management Officer (PMO) you will work within the Supply Chain Project Office, which currently consists of 9 (Senior) Project Managers. You will report to the Manager Portfolio and Project Office, who is responsible for managing and controlling the Supply Chain projects portfolio to deliver the business plan. You will also engage stakeholders and other parties involved and know how to keep your eyes on the goal. You also have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or education relevant to the role of PMO.  
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a PMO role, preferably in retail and Supply Chain.
  • Project management office skills and familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, Dutch and other languages are a plus
