Your Daily Actions


As a Supply Chain Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and challenging business leaders to define and implement strategic changes that drive expansion, efficiency and innovation. Your focus will be on long-term planning and defining impactful visions for outbound operations. This concerns anything contributing to delivering our Action stores across Europe, including distribution centres, transport, and facilities management.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to create and refine strategies that improve outbound supply chain operations and meet company objectives.
  • Innovation: Develop forward-thinking programs and approaches that enhance the way we manage warehouse and store distribution.
  • Business Support: Assist the Supply Chain Director in driving business planning and budget cycles, ensuring clear deliverables and high-quality presentations for the Executive Board.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to align strategies and ensure smooth execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimisation and provide thought leadership to enhance operational effectiveness.

You’ll be part of the Supply Chain Strategy & Innovation team, a group dedicated to supporting the business in achieving its goals through strategic insight and innovation. Reporting directly to senior leadership, your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the future of Action’s supply chain.
 

This Is You


You’re an analytical and visionary leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and influencing senior stakeholders. You balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are passionate about making a meaningful impact.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in supply chain strategy or a similar role, and preferably experience as an operational leader.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with experience engaging at senior levels.
  • A proven ability to align cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
  • Affinity for budget planning and business performance analysis.
