Talent Manager ( Employee Engagement, ID&E, Wellbeing, Performance Management, and Succession Planning)

Your daily Actions

As Talent Manager, you will lead initiatives that shape our employee experience across several critical topics: employee engagement, inclusion and diversity (I&D), wellbeing, performance management, and succession planning. You will manage a team of HR specialists and ensure we deliver best-in-class talent initiatives that support Action’s continued international growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the execution and follow-up of Action’s Employee Engagement Survey

  • Analysing survey results and collaborating with the business to create relevant action plans

  • Updating the Inclusion & Diversity policy and driving initiatives that promote a truly inclusive culture

  • Designing and implementing wellbeing activities to support health, resilience, and work-life balance

  • Driving performance management processes and ensuring they align with our culture and business goals

  • Leading succession planning efforts to ensure we have strong internal pipelines for key roles

  • Managing and coaching a team of People Development specialists, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities

You will work closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to translate strategic goals into concrete action. Your ability to navigate complex environments and lead with impact will be essential.

Action HR has evolved into a strategic Centre of Excellence in recent years. Within our department, the Recruitment team brings in new talent for our international headquarters. Compensation & Benefits is responsible for everything related to salaries, bonuses, and other employment benefits. People Development ensures that all our employees have opportunities for growth and development. HR Projects creates initiatives to enhance the value of our HR department within Action. Our Shared Service Centre supports our country offices with payroll administration and other HR services. Lastly, each supporting department has its own HR Business Partner who manages employee inflow and outflow and connects them with our overall HR team.

Who you are

As a Talent Manager, you are a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you are passionate about employee experience, inclusion, and performance. You have a proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale HR programmes.

You bring:

  • Solid experience in Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and Succession Planning

  • A background gained in a consultancy firm and/or a large international organisation

  • Experience managing and developing HR specialists

  • Deep understanding of Inclusion & Diversity topics and related legislation

  • Experience with wellbeing strategies that positively impact culture and performance

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • The ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights

  • High delivery speed and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

  • Currently residing in the Netherlands
