Team Lead Accounts Payable Commercial Goods
Fulltime 38 hours
Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for process optimization and people management? Do you get energized by leading a team in a dynamic, international environment?
Then this role at Action is exactly what you’re looking for.
Your daily actions
In this role, you ensure that the invoice processing flow for merchandise goods runs smoothly, efficiently, and with full control. You combine process expertise, stakeholder management, and team development to drive continuous improvement.
You will focus on:
- Leading, coaching, and developing your team, with attention to collaboration, quality, and motivation.
- Ensuring a flawless, timely, and audit-proof Accounts Payable process for merchandise goods.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Buying, Logistics, and Finance.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, as well as testing and rolling out system changes within SAP.
- Providing clear process documentation, reporting, and KPI monitoring to enable data-driven steering.
Your team
As Team Lead Financial Services within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain, you are responsible for the full invoice processing flow of our merchandise goods: from receipt to payment. You will lead a team of 8 colleagues and report directly to the Manager Procure-to-Pay.
Procure-to-Pay consists of more than 46 colleagues and is part of the Financial Services department (around 100 employees).
Every day, your team processes more than 2,500 invoices for deliveries to our distribution centers, intercompany deliveries, and additional direct-import costs. Thanks to a highly automated SAP-based process, this operates at high volume and speed—and you play a direct role in making that happen.
Who you are
You are an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment where processes are continuously improving and evolving. You combine analytical skills with a hands-on mentality and know how to inspire and guide a team to the next level.
You bring:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial administration within large, international organizations.
- Leadership experience and the talent to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong analytical skills and a drive to optimize and automate processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with Buying, Logistics, and Finance.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- SAP experience is a strong plus.
