Supply Chain Traineeship

Full-time, 38 hours a week 

Welcome to the challenging world of supply chain planning, where you will learn everything, you need to know about optimal goods flows. As a Supply Chain Trainee at Action in ​​Zwaagdijk you will work on strategic decisions, analyse demand patterns and you will learn how to implement and optimise logistics processes.  

Your daily tasks

As a Supply Chain Process Expert trainee, you will play a pivotal role in both transformative projects and the ongoing enhancement of our processes and systems. Your responsibilities will include streamlining our order picking procedure, addressing issues within our warehouse management systems, opening new international warehouses, and supporting on the integration of our latest ERP system across our entire supply chain network. Furthermore, you will serve as a vital resource for different Action departments, offering expert guidance on system and process inquiries. With an expansive network that includes over 2,600 stores, 12 distribution centers, hubs, and cross-docks, coupled with an ambitious strategy for growth, our supply chain is in a constant state of growth. In your trainee position, you will gain invaluable insights into optimizing supply chain processes and acquire a comprehensive understanding of Inbound, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse, Outbound, and Transport systems and processes.

High-level planning is achieved with our 70-strong Supply Chain Planning team. With a global scope, a highly dynamic product range and a growing number of distribution centres, store hubs and cross-docks, you will face exciting challenges day in, day out. What you offer
