Product Owner (IAM)

Full-time, 38 hours

Action Technology is looking for an IAM Product Owner!

As an IAM Product Owner at Action Technology, you will be part of the IT Security Operations Team, which is responsible for delivering security services. Our security services provide insight into the security level of the IT landscape, implement measures to proactively prevent suspicious activities, detect unwanted behaviour, and enable effective responses.

Are you a professional who enjoys working on a wide range of IAM-related topics at operational, tactical, and strategic levels in a rapidly changing environment? Do you possess a high degree of pragmatism and a no-nonsense attitude? If so, we would like to hear from you!

Your day-to-day responsibilities

As an IAM Product Owner, you are responsible for the IAM vision and strategy within Action. You will define IAM policies and develop the IAM roadmap. Together with your team, you ensure that the vision and policies are communicated effectively, the roadmap is implemented, and the IAM system operates correctly.

You will know who your key stakeholders are and maintain strong relationships with them to stay informed of developments and needs. In addition to strategic and tactical work, you will also be happy to contribute to operational matters as part of the team.

Your team

Action offers a dynamic working environment made up of committed, cost-conscious, customer-focused and culturally diverse people. We work collaboratively and uphold our company values, with simplicity at the heart of everything we do.

Our Technology department adds value through centralised teams for Enterprise Architecture, IT Project & Portfolio Management, Development & Operations, and multiple Business Technology (BizTech) teams.

As IAM Product Owner, you will be part of the Development & Operations department within Technology, reporting to the Manager of IT Security Operations. Daily, the team works on both the technical and functional aspects of the IAM solution. In addition, the team is responsible for creating and maintaining access roles, providing support to the business, and participating in projects.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have a hands-on mentality. You have experience as a product owner and in working collaboratively in teams. You understand how to build strong stakeholder relationships to make progress and achieve your goals. You think in conceptual terms and focus on long-term solutions.

You have a background in technology and can translate complex situations into business objectives. You are a team player with drive and excellent interpersonal skills, highly pragmatic, organised, and committed to meeting deadlines and following guidelines. You work efficiently and effectively, even under pressure, and at a fast pace. You are goal-oriented rather than task-oriented, and you take initiative and ownership.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Identity & Access Management
  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in information technology, computer science or another IT-related field
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of and experience with IAM solutions such as SailPoint and Microsoft Entra ID Governance
  • Experience in implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Experience in connecting IT systems to a central IAM solution
  • Knowledge of and experience with ISO 27001
  • Willingness to work on site three days per week Action HQ - (60/40 hybrid)
